Theological Foundation

The educational philosophy of North Cariboo Christian School (NCCS) is based upon a God-centered view of man and truth as presented in the Bible. The essential truths of this view are detailed in Article 3 of our Constitution.

Since God created and sustains all things through His Son, Jesus Christ, the universe and all life are related to God and have the purpose of glorifying Him. This is true of man who was made in God's image, with the unique capacity to know and respond to God personally.

Because of man's sinful nature, he must be born again to do God's will. The goal of education should be to enable man to know, love and serve God.

God's authority commands that children be taught to love God and place Him first in their lives. Parents are responsible for the total education and training of their children. The Home, the Christian School and the Church are partners in giving the education. From this philosophy comes our mission and goals.
